Top 10 on Thursday, top 10 fantasy books/book series I love

Hi hot cute girly and boy geeks of mine.

It’s Thursday again, and that means another list. This time a list of fantasy books or series I love.

10 LonTobyn Chronicles by David B. Coe:  A lovely trilogy about magicians with hawks and owls trying to rule their country and help their people.

09 The Lord of the Rings (and the hobbit) by J.R.R. Tolkien: If I have to explain these books, you have been living under a rock.

08 The Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling: Same goes for the Harry Potter books. If you haven’t read them yet, please put your life on hold and buy the books and read them!

07 Watch tetralogy by Sergey Lukyanenko: not sure if this qualifies as fantasy, but a great serie of novels by a Russian author about the always ongoing war between good and evil.

06 The Kingkiller chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss: little strange, these books but it’s about the autobiography of Kvothe (fictional character ofcourse) and his travels as an adventurer, arcanist, and famous musician

05 The Sevenwaters trilogy by Juliet Marilier: This isn’t a trilogy anymore, but it’s the story of the fairytale “the six swans” and I just read them over and over again.

04 Wolfking by Bridget Wood: Amazing, disturbing, sexy, hot, crazy story based upon Irish mythology. And I mean that! The hill of Tara and the Lia Fáil (Stone of Destiny) can still be found in Ireland and I have been there.

03 The Farseer trilogy, Liveship traders trilogy, the Tawny Man trilogy, the Rain Wilds trilogy by Robin Hobb: I love almost all books by Robin Hobb. The fact that all these trilogies make one big story is amazing, but you can also read them as just separate trilogies. I love books about dragons and I highly recommend you start reading those books!

02 Kushiels Legacy by Jacqueline Carey: Sexy, politically based fantasy books about a prostitute with a kinky French edge. An absolute must read. Also infused with some Celtic mythology.

01 The Passage by Justin Cronin: Ok I cheated with this one. Not really a fantasy book, but more a post apocalyptic story with vampires. I don’t scare easy, but this book gave me a lot of nightmares when I was reading it. I’m still debating on whether to read it a second time, just because of the nightmares, but it was an awesome book

I hope you pick up some of these suggestions, oh and some of the pictures are the Dutch covers, because I think they look prettier.

Love, your hot cute girly geek, Mendy.
