My Body is Ready… for Super Smash Bros.!

This time not a review or a 101, but a humble request to sign a certain awesome petition. But this needs some explanation first. Gamer Geeks will know that each year in June, the E3 (Electronics Entertainment Expo) is held in Los Angeles. At this expo, all big game developers reveal their new consoles/games/handhelds/sorftware ect. At the E3 in 2007, Nintendo revealed their hit Wii Fit, and this happened.

Reggie Fils-Aime (aka the Regginator) , then the president of Nintendo of America, blurts out the awkward sentence ‘My body is ready’, which became a popular meme in 2011.

The reginator became popular among Nintendo fans. He became so popular, that there was a petition started to make him a playable character in the upcoming intstallments of the Super Smash Bros. series on Wii-U and 3DS.

AND I THINK THAT IS AWESOME!

Today I received an e-mail from the guys that made the petition saying: ‘Reggie revealed that if he becomes a playable character in the upcoming Smash Bros, his Final Smash would be “MY BODY IS READY SLAM”. More importantly, although it might have just been a joke, the Regginator said that Masahiro Sakurai (the creator of SSB) might consider adding him to the game if this petition gets 100,000 signatures from fans’.

So hereby my humble request: please sign this petition if you want the Reginator in the new SSM games!
