Winter is coming, and so is the start of a new season filled with TV series.

Hi my hot cute girly geeks and boy geeks of course. Since it’s the first of September and basically I’m too old to receive my Hogwarts letter I decided to write you a guide towards the new TV series season that is starting. We survived summer, classes are starting for those who are going back to school and a lot of new series have been announced. Are you as excited as I am?

Let’s just start this guide with new series and the start of new seasons of series already out there, now with airdates! (Except Sherlock, we are forever known as the fandom that waited!) Series included are either shows I watch, have heard good things about, or want to watch. At the end of the post I’ll include the links to other lists so you can get even more info about the shows you might want to watch, but I didn’t include in my list.

This blog post is created with a bit of help from the lovely geeks from Den of Geek, Editie NL (a Dutch news program), Wikipedia and IMDB.

    Great posting.

I remember the 70s and 90s incarnations of “The Tomorrow People”, so I felt REALLY old when I found out that it was coming back for a third time. From the look of the trailer, CW is going to do a “Smallville” or “The Vampire Diaries” with the franchise, but I hope it keeps the core ideals of the original British series.

Really looking forward to the “Doctor Who” anniversary special, especially after THAT cliffhanger and the new series of “Sherlock”, again following THAT cliffhanger.

I’m also looking forward to “Whitechapel” which is returning later this week for it’s fourth series, the second series of “Ripper Street” which was trailed today by the BBC and “The Musketeers” starring the incoming new Doctor, Peter Capaldi.

Thanks for the great list, Mendy! It’s got some great new info in there, and some info on good oldies. I’m catching up with SPN, only started season 2, but it’s good to know there’s lots to watch after that, and that the fans rate it as great!

Thanks for the tip of Den of Geek. Just up my alley, but the first time I heard about the site. The internet is vast!
